New Blog...

Life in L.A. has kept me pretty busy and although I am not always able to carry my SLR with me I do have my phone with me. So here are some shots taken with a great and very portable camera.

“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” HDT

I have been lacking on posts but life has been keeping me pretty busy with freelancing and recently I had to run over to Burbank, CA all the way from Miami, FL which is an intense 2,751 mi., over 40 hours of driving, 8 states, and 4 days.  The reason for the quick and huge road trip is I was accepted into Nickelodeon Animation Studios Internship Program.  This fall I am working with the SpongeBob SquarePants Production Crew.  I am extremely grateful for this opportunity this will definitely be a valuable and amazing experience in which I am so excited to be a part of.  A very HUGE and special thank you goes out to my family for helping all of this actually happen.

As for everything with my photography it is continuing to develop.  One door has opened and it is leading to many great opportunities I am excited to see how everything works its way out here in LA.  I have taken a lot of photos while on my way to LA and things that have happened here so far little by little I will be posting them.

Audrey

Sorry for the lack of uploads I have been freelancing to attempt to pay the bills while trying to find the time and energy to do anything else is pretty tough but I am working on it. I have a lot of great images to post in the future as soon as I can get to them. For now here are a few shots from spring of my friend Audrey and her friend at the Ringling Museum grounds in Sarasota, FL.

More from this photo shoot and many others coming soon!

Pepper Lane

I had the opportunity to go to New Orleans and I stopped at a small record store having a live performance. My only regret is not passing by sooner to catch more of their performance. Pepper Lane is a nice, down to earth band I had the pleasure of briefly meeting and taking pictures of. If you are interested in some new tunes check them out on their MySpace page... Pepper Lane. Here is just a few of many many pictures taken while in New Orleans I hope to put more up soon as I find time amongst the moving, jobs, etc.

I got to play with shooting in manual with a 35mm and crossed processed the roll. I really like the look and I have more pictures from the roll I would like to edit when my Illustration thesis and my other classes are done dominating my life. So for now enjoy these...

Special thanks to Jane and Bill for letting me shoot at their place yet again.
(The one picture that made the cut in this post taken in their home is the 1st one with the chair)
The others were shot around Sarasota, FL)
