Updates, macros, and HDR o my!

I made some improvements to my diptychs here are the latest...

Here are some new pictures...I am excited to use the macro lens I borrowed from Ringling so keep an eye out for more macros. =D

My 1st HDR image! It is definitely hard to do an HDR image because no matter how hard you tighten everything on your tripod there was a shift between each fstop. I will be checking to see if the others are salvageable with photomatix which is a better HDR program that I just got after I merged this photo. This photo and others might just be posted if it works out and I will keep trying this HDR technique just for fun.

More blog transfers...

More old photos brought in from the other blog.

Thanksgiving in Miami...

I woke up nice and early for a 5 AM shoot of Miami during the Thanksgiving break. Getting most of the shots I have been wanting all summer were a bit of a challenge I had to work fast so I would not get run over and deal with the sun rise beaming at my lens making my light meter work against me. I manage to get a lot of shots so far these are the ones I have had the time to edit...enjoy.

The parts of Miami in the photos are...parts of Brickell, Downtown, Macarthur Causeway area, parts of Miami Beach, and Ocean Drive.

This one is of my neighborhood at 1AM right before the 5 AM shoot.

Shots from downtown and Siesta Key Sarasota, FL.

Here are some portraits of Shannon in her great apartment. Thank you Shannon! She was a great model and fun to work with.

Had a photo shoot with local fire fighters from station 4 in Sarasota, FL. They were a great bunch, really nice, and great models. I also had great timing as they were called right as I was going to start up and I was invited to follow them on the scene.

Here is a slide show made for class with more photos...(music: The Radio Department)
(This video has lost quality when uploading it online if you would like to see a better version let me know and I'll post them.)

All photos were shot in Sarasota, FL and Tarpon Springs, FL
